The independent battery energy storage power station project on the grid side in Nanhai, Foshan, Guangdong, is a demonstration project of China Southern Power Grid and the Guangdong Provincial Energy Administration. It achieves "one-station integration" of multiple lithium battery energy storage technology routes. The project aims to compare operational mechanisms, investment returns, and energy storage technology routes, and to select more efficient and reliable technology paths for the lithium battery energy storage industry. With a construction scale of 300MW/600MWh, this project is the largest 100-megawatt-scale independent battery energy storage project on the grid side in China Southern Power Grid and the five southern provinces.
The company has adopted a 3.44MWh intelligent string-type liquid-cooled energy storage system. Through the proprietary "single cluster management + pack-level optimization" technology, it effectively addresses a series of issues that arise in energy storage stations after a period of operation, such as imbalance between battery clusters and uneven voltage of individual cells. This significantly enhances the station's response efficiency and charge-discharge capacity. The station entered its full operation phase on January 1, 2024, and our company is among the manufacturers with the most stable operating conditions and the highest overall efficiency.
