Chengde 500MW Wind-Solar-Storage-Hydrogen Integrated Multi-energy Complementary Project

The ongoing wind-solar-storage-hydrogen integration project in Weichang County, Chengde: 300MW wind power, 200MW photovoltaic power, along with a 100MW/200MWh lithium iron phosphate energy storage station and a 3000Nm³/h hydrogen production station.

Upon completion and operation, the project can provide approximately 1.05 billion kWh of clean electricity to the grid annually. The accompanying energy storage station can also offer various ancillary services to the grid, such as frequency regulation and peak shaving, enhancing the region's capacity to absorb renewable energy. Together with the hydrogen production facility, the project will contribute to the country's dual carbon goals
